I've read to know how many calories you should consume take your weight x by 12. That is calories per day. Reduce your calories by 500 to lose 1 to 2 pounds per week. You are doing awesome!! 22 lbs is huge!! (I know, I lost over 60 total) I understand about getting out in the garden and how difficult it is... my hubby has to do everything this year because of my brain surgery and shoulder issues that happened during my surgery.
