Surprise Gift

A surprise gift came in the mail yesterday. And I cried.

This is a photo of the small wall-plaque that an online friend sent to me. I love that the woman's face is not detailed, her slight and gentle hand curled up on his jaw, her head pressed to him.
With their faces like this, it feels spiritual to me.

My friend included a lovely card and wrote inside that I would ride again, in that place where we will all be healthy again one day.

Did I mention I cried? It all hit me in a very deep, emotional place. I didn't bawl, I don't do that! Too painful on the back of my head. But a few tears trickled down my cheeks and I burned in my brain a little bit for a while. It was a good thing, though. And such a lovely gift and thought! I just had to share it here!

Lace, I did notice this and am very concerned. We must pray that Keesha is okay, but this really worries me! She has been thru so much! If I hear anything, I will let you know.

We are all so interconnected, aren't we?

God bless you always

V., I love willow tree and havd not seen this one yet. its Beautiful. I just received one as well but it wa a young girl holding a sweet, precious, baby lamb in her arms. It brought back some wonderful memories and reminded me of God and us as his lambs. We are just as ding as lambs and yet he always has us in His wonderful arms, gently taking us back to where we need to be.

This one Virginia is made just for you. I sit her and wipe my eyes (yes, still emotional) thinking about you and keeping you in my prayers.I know this one brought out some tears in you too ((((Hugs)))love you, Joleen

Faceless art has always appealed to me. It allows me to see myslef or someone else there, and that draws me in and close to them. We prayed for you today. My sister-in-law, Cathy, asked (during our prayer time) if I heard any updates from you. I had not, but I told her that I would giver her your blog address. Chuck is in Irland visiting(Laurene stayed "by the stuff" here). She talked to him the other night. True to Chuck's way, he read about the Titanic Museum and wanted to see it so he walked about four hours looking for it. Finally he asked someone about it and was told that it had not been built yet. We laughed! Then it reminded me of Abraham who looked (and longed) for a city that hasn't been built yet, but someday it will be, and we will meet there, and you will not be in pain. We love you and you will always be in our prayers. Love Dom & Sally

Pastor Dom and Sally, how good to "see" you! Thank you for visiting and for writing. yes, we long for that place where there will be no more pain and suffering! We are so blessed to know that we are headed there, in the sweet bye and bye.

Thanks so much for keeping me in your prayers. The Lord knows where I would be without them!

For my friends here, Pastor Dom came and prayed for me in the hospital on the day I broke my neck! He says I called him an angel, but I don't remember that! ha! It was a lovely thing to have him make the trip all the way to that hospital and be there to support and encourage me. His church brought me many meals and have always been "there" for me!

God bless you both richly and always! God is sooooo good and one of the good things He did for me was to allow me to get to know you two!

love, V.

Joleen, hmmmmm! I wonder if YOU got your lamb and girl carving from the same person who sent me the horse and girl carving? A sneaky little angel perhaps?? A loving Christian sister most definitely. What a delight.

Joleen, I'm still praying for you as you are in the hospital in Denver and going through so much. You are a true blessing to everyone who knows you and God has a plan for your future!
love you and thanks for the post!
