another traction photo

Here's another shot of me in the traction in NY,
without the CT scanner in the way. What I notice
most is my neck stretched up nicely, something
it hasn't looked like in a long time. Talk about
sucking it up for a photo op! Some people have
looked at these and said, "Hey, you're smiling!"
That's just my need to keep other folks from
feeling bad about it all.
But I do look at this photo and it gives me that
mental push toward fusion. How I'd love to have
my neck look like this without having to endure
painful pins in my skull and 45 lbs of traction!
